Homemade Dog Food - How To Prepare Delicious Dog Food
The English aren't known for their food. They're known for prestigious universities, Harry Potter, and a historic monarchy. Food, well, if you're going to Europe for the food, you should probably go to Italy.
The best curry can be a lovely meal. A curry is ideal for dinner or lunch. I have eaten many curries in my life. Unfortunately I have eaten a lot of horrible curries that have been made by people who should know better! A good curry doesn't need to be expensive. A good curry consists of fresh recipes, herbs, and spices. The best thing of all is that you will be eating a homemade curry that is easy to make and is filled with healthy herbs and spices.
If Italian is your flavor, head over to Tony Vallone's Ciao Bello, where Chef Bobby Matos and team are offering a three course prix-fixe with boundless choices. For the primi, try a creamy Risotti ai Puntini with tenderloin and wild mushroom, a classic Cioppini Genovese shellfish soup, or the melt-in-your-mouth Pansoti stuffed with roasted butternut squash. For mains, feast on Braised Colorado easy slow cooker lamb shanks, Osso Bucco, Parmesan-crusted red snapper, Veal Picatta and more. To celebrate, why not order a bottle of a Italian sparkling wine? The choices are fabulous. All this, while enjoying the sounds of Houston musician Louis Carrington, Jr., will make the night an evening to remember.
As we finished our drinks, another vehicle picked us up for a surprise honoring our 30th anniversary, and we took off into the long grass. 45 minutes later, we saw a group of lights as we approached a clearing ringed by hurricane lamps. Two giant bonfires burned in the center, and a smiling group of Klein's staff stood next to a candlelit table for two. We were served a bountiful feast of soup, salad, lamb curry and champagne. Chocolate mousse ended the meal on a sweet note, and as it was served, a group of Masai performers entered the clearing, stepping and harmonizing with skill and enthusiasm. Our chef couldn't resist joining in. The magic of the evening enveloped us in a warm glow, carrying us through the rest of the extraordinary night.
To sweeten the meal, you could opt for Dadar. It is a pancake with sweet coconut shavings. But the ideal way to end the meal would be to try the Teh Larik, which is the Malaysian pulled tea and is served with milk and coconut cream on top. The taste lingers long after it is downed. There is even the special variety of crispy sweetened bread served with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce for Rs. 120. It makes for a wonderful end to the meal.
On the way to the town of Golden, our next destination, we stopped to hike to Johnston Canyon, a worthwhile trek! The falls were splendid! The journey curried lamb took us less than an hour. It was a little crowded, even with the rain, but by the time we reached the falls, there were very few people around. On the road again, we encountered four majestically antlered elk! They know they are VIPs, and don't allow us people to hurry them along. They promenade along the road and graze gracefully by the roadside.
About 23 miles from the heart of Wilmington and 14 miles from the Delaware state line, The Whip Tavern is well worth the drive. The restaurant is quite literally in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by farms and rolling hills, which The Whip affectionately calls "horse country". There isn't even any cell phone service, but considering the atmosphere of the pub, you don't need to make a call because you're surrounded by 100 of your lamb indian curry friends.
Transfer the vegetable mixture to the crockpot, then pour the wine mixture into the skillet and scrape up any stuck-on bits, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Pour it into the crockpot. Cover and cook for two hours on high, then six to eight hours on low.
